Ta Ta Ta is an educational music-themed programming-platformer, targeted at children as young as 7 who may be studying music for the first time. It was a collaboration with Adi Galili, our project for Shenkar's educational games course.

The player must guide the character to the end of the level by inputting a sequence of note values and rests that translate to different distance hops and slides, respectively. The design was largely inspired by a paper that defined 2D platformers as being composed of "rhythm groups". It made sense then to use a 2D platformer to teach rhythm notation.

The web version of our prototype used to be available on Newgrounds, but sadly it was published for Unity Web Player which is no longer supported anywhere.
